New Balance Window Display


Green Base” by Eszter Chen is a site-specific installation created for the New Balance Xinyi Taipei Flagship window display during summer 2023. Commissioned as part of New Balance’s ongoing commitment to creativity, sustainability, and lifestyle expression, the piece served as both a visual anchor and seasonal statement for the brand’s flagship presence.

The installation features a series of playful, organic sculptures crafted from wood and recycled papier-mâché, celebrating the tactile beauty of natural materials and low-impact design. Inspired by themes of growth, movement, and grounded energy, the forms resemble abstract botanical shapes, layered terrains, and sprouting structures, evoking a sense of nature rooted in motion—mirroring the spirit of New Balance.
